My buddy and I were flying back to Minneapolis from Phoenix on a Sunday about 6 PM. We were hungry and wanted some food and refreshments.

We came across this restaurant at the Phoenix airport and we ordered 3 tacos and I got a large Goose Island IPA. Scrumptious. The tacos took a little while but there were three options, steak, chicken and pork. They were all solid with a steamed tortilla and lots of shredded cheese. Beans and rice were lovely accouterments.

Not bad for a Mexican Restaurant in an airport. A solid 3.

No complaints here, Sky Harbor is in the process of renovating and this is the only sit down/bar on the entire Delta terminal side (super disappointing you can't go and eat at the terminals for other airlines without having to go through TSA again)

I was nervous given everyone's reviews, but truly given the situation, the food was good, not phenomenal, not bad, but good. I swear they had two bartenders and two servers for a restaurant jam packed, like JAMP PACKED with people (I truly felt for the servers, they were working their butts off).

My coworker and I started off with two frozen, mango margaritas and chips/salsa/queso. I really enjoyed my margarita, not too sweet or too strong, just right! The chips and salsa were good! We didn't understand why they gave us tiny salsa containers instead of a regular sized bowl of salsa but whatever. After seeing the scary Yelped pictures of people's tacos and what not, I played it safe and just did a chicken quesadilla. Now ... I don't know if I was just hungry or what, but that quesadilla was lowkey BOMB (no lie!) My coworker got the chimichanga and he killed his meal as well, ASIDE FROM THE WHITE RICE ON HIS PLATE ... have you ever seen white, minute rice at a Mexican restaurant? I'll wait.

Now this isn't a five star restaurant, by any means, but the servers were kind and the food was good.

*HEADS UP: Hardest thing here is getting a seat, because it is the only sit down restaurant/bar in the terminal it's like the hunger games to get a table.

This food was much like a cafeteria experience.  There were only 3 options in this area.  The dine in version, Wendy's and this.  I don't know how the dine in version was but my son had Wendy's.  We should've all had Wendy's (not that it was great, it just wasn't this).  We had the Mexican style Tacos.  The shells, veggies and salsa was good.  The meat wasn't.  The veggie tacos should be your go to if you have to eat here and you should be okay.

This place is sooooooooo WACK! Do yourself a favor and go to Wendy's. I ordered a salad and they "ran out" of lettuce. Ummm ma'am it's lunch time lets just be honest you didn't order the romaine for the week.

Ended up with fish tacos (insert sad face emoji).  They we're horrible. The restaurant didn't event provide real utensils, we were provided plastic and we dined in. Do yourself a favor and go pass Taberna and go right to Wendy's you've been warned.

Oh and our waiter asked my coworker if she could go ahead a pay for her meal because it's time for her to get off. I mean really!!! Right in the middle of her meal. No ma'am Pam you gone wait today.

Hope you dont have a flight to catch!

Because after you wait 15 minutes for a waiter to take your order you SHOULD get a watered down $14 vodka tonic about 20 minutes later. Maybe 20 minutes after that you might get your food, and right as you finish your meal is when your guacamole appetizer... Then your next task is chasing down your waiter for the check before you miss your flight.

So I agree with a previous review. Do yourself a favor and go to Wendy's.
